Attic
All artists, I think, have attics—this is a place where they store individual works and short series which, finished, did not somehow lead on to other related works. They exist on the periphery like unfinished poems, still suggesting richness and mystery but not strongly enough to demand immediate attention. They become markers for memories. Here, too, you will find the orphaned, unsold works of longer series. There is some of each in my attic. I also include images of sold works here just to remind myself of their existence.
